Niggas stay lying about their height. I'm 6'5, but I measure 6'4 and 3/4. Dudes are always like "You can't be 6'5, I'm 6'3" and be like half a head shorter.

I think some of them been lying so long they honestly don't know their actual height.

reality is i'm between 6' and 6'1.

i usually just claim 6' even.

my brother's maybe a quarter inch taller than me and steady claims 6'3". i dunno where that came from.

i still blame hip-hop.

not that I'm ridiculously tall, I'm 6'2", but I'm a legit 6'2" in socks at the doctors office, not 5'11 1/2", or a 5'10" dude claiming 6' which I guess is what is typical.

like you said because I am a legit 6'4" but in shoes I am 6'5"+ People always say well I am 6 feet or my dad is 6'4" and he isnt as tall as you. Well then your dad is lying.
