but I've never experienced it.
My first thought was asexuals got that covered. But it sounds like you're talking about someone who isn't asexual feeling that.
I'm still certain there is, as I can differentiate between romantic feelings and sexual feelings, but I've never experienced romantic interest for someone and not sexual interest.

its when you just want to be around the person and talk to them and touch them and go places with them and laugh with them and have them look at you with love but no real desire for intercourse...holding hands, meaningful hugs and kissing (not deep tongue kissing) yes. beyond that, no.
only experienced once and it was really confusing lol

She said she thought, at one point a few years earlier, that she might be a lesbian because she didn't want to get sexual with basically any dude (she wasn't a virgin and she wasn't attracted to women, though.)
She didn't identify as asexual.
I have a hunch alot of those cases are just extreme hypergamy.

before hormones seriously kick in
those childhood non sexual crushes can also be intense ~~~~ When you are born, you cry, and the world rejoices. Live so that when you die, you rejoice, and the world cries. ~~~~ You cannot hate people for their own good.

its in the splitting hair territory admittedly but there are as many types of loves as there are people
even if you acknowledge loving physically there is emotionally and intellectually the last two are where this comes into play
there is friendship but then there is an intensity of attraction esp if you are attracted to smart intellectually and emotionally intelligent people's a different level
like equating a crush to lust or love yeah but not exactly ~~~~ When you are born, you cry, and the world rejoices. Live so that when you die, you rejoice, and the world cries. ~~~~ You cannot hate people for their own good.
