I think when they pulled that on GWB it was a tad unfair because I think 95% of the people in congress wouldn't be able to answer some of the questions they asked her.

However the phrase has been diluted to try to use it to try and describe the very basic questions they asked Satah Palin. What magazines you read is a gotcha question???!

This shit really annoys me, because it is being used incorrectly. There is a second half to that little saying.

It's "one bad apple spoils the bunch". It supposed to mean that one person, un-checked can fuck it up for everyone. Not to point out that its only a "few" baddies out of a whole bunch of good guys.
