Dates 1-4? Nah
Asking in general is a little odd to me seems like a thing you'd just "find out" if its something you check for

all the thirst, possible dumb friends they have, I don't want to even know it exists. There isn't much positive that can come of it. I'm not jealous or nosey either, and I hate that whole mindset of "if you have nothing to hide, you should be ok with me invading your privacy".

I don't have time to be checking up on someone and I don't post anything there. But if you have a guys first last name it's not a bad idea to check and see if he's married.

Some folks assume I'm lying. I've had to sort them out for thinking
that decision is indicative of anything more than a personal decision.

It is a weird place to draw a line in the sand, but I could see someone having their reasons. I been with the same person for 7 years and we're friends on FB, but we're not listed as being in a relationship. So, I guess that's not that much more of a stretch.

Mainly I don't like adding women I just started talking to because if it goes south, I don't want to have to be looking at her pictures of herslef looking all good in teh Bahamas, or with her next dude. It's generally better to keep that out of my head and away from my eyes. I told her that, too, and she still thinks I'm "hiding" something.

you can always unfriend them or just add them and unfollow their posts. so these aren't particulary good reasons to not add someone you just met.

I have a fb but I rarely post. I add people, all the time and think nothing of it.

I have all types of old flames on there too. No one who would get messy but I literally don't give a shit because I don't use it that often.

as someone else pointed out, I only add family/friends/people I've known from work, not just any ol bird I just met
told a girl I don't do fb, she doesn't believe me
she puts my name in the fb search bar, like 20 dudes popped up
I'm with her as she's scrolling down, going nope, not me
she had to charge it to the game

Take this manicured resume. I don't need you searching my activity and seeing what articles or posts I clicked Like on before we interview.
