and we have food
last year (or the year before i forget)
we got a lot of ppl who went to MJ first and left when it got too packed/they got hungry because they didn't have food (though there were some enterprising folks on the block who took advantage lol)

granted we'll probably pack out too

In the room with the bar and food no. In the little courtyard it was a mix. In the back room where the DJ was people were dancing.

that's usually how it goes.
they come to eat/drink
then dance
it was still pretty early and because there were all these other day events we didn't hit full stride until 7/8pm or so

with plenty of room to move through

good beer choices

cleaner place

nice sound system, didn't overpower convos in other sections

they need more bartenders though, lol

I was polite, but yea...

i loved the fact that there were a variety of food choices! and there was hardly any wait at the bar. The music was great, nice clean bathrooms. initially i thought "oh it's not a lot of space to dance." but it seemed like that worked well because the space was so large and people were spread out. at no point was it too hot to dance or too crowded on the dance floor.

*actually scratch that. eclipse brings up a good point about the sound system*

i mean it was cool. never seen so many black folk in Berg'n before. Only been open a year tho.

I thought that you guys had it under control and it was cool, but Berg'ns benches didnt help with the thought of dancing. and I know berg'n serves food, but if its called a cookout.....
