I'll stay with a brand for a minute, but I don't like to repeat the exact shoes.
I prolly got 20 pair now, mostly casual to dress up. I have about 4 pair of real sneakers. by real I mean they are used for an athletic activity. couple pair running shoes and couple basketball kicks.
I just kinda put them in the closest. no real organization to it.
while my shoes tend to look nice, I don't really care how my kids shoes look. I'd rather they beat the shoes up than have a pristine ass pair that they've outgrown.

I buy at least 2 - 3 pair of gray/white 993s, in addition to others shoes that I'll pick up over the course of a year. aside from being a DC area staple, New Balance go with just about anything, and they're great to just chill in. they get run down real fast though (although my definition of run down is usually mint condition in most folks eyes. if that makes me a diva, sh/t, i'll be that. smh). I guess that explains my reasoning for buying multiple pairs of the exact same shoe.
as far as organization goes, I bought a sh/t load of plastic shoe boxes from the container store a few years back. they beat the heck out of having stacks of miscellaneous cardboard shoe boxes in your closet or stacked against a wall. plus they're a whole lot sturdier.

and as a nigga with long feet (an issue that took about 22 years to get over) i'm salty as shit that i can't walk around looking cool as shit in new balances.
i typed all that to say, 'fuck you'.
i'd be a new balance wearing ass idiot if i didn't have skis for feet. >as far as organization goes, I bought a sh/t load of plastic >shoe boxes from the container store a few years back. they >beat the heck out of having stacks of miscellaneous cardboard >shoe boxes in your closet or stacked against a wall. plus >they're a whole lot sturdier.

I think some new balance are more horrible looking on large feet than others. particular styles that have a flatter, minimilast sole (see: 574s and 996s). styles like 993s compliment all foot sizes a lot better, imo.

...996, 574's (blue ones from way back), and 1300's))
I've had multiples of each...just, well, because of where I'm from. JUST bought the 17 month old some 990's last week. Daycare dogged'm out already. Salty at myself for THAT!

bought multiples of jordan 3's and 11's over the years. red wing iron rangers are my boot of choice, but those things last forever just need to get them resoled every few years. I always keep some sort of brown and black dress shoes that are relatively classic.

same brand & style though, ive owned every colorway of Jordan 3's at one point or another & sometimes multiples. thats probably 15 or so pairs of 3's at least. the last 4 years or so ive just been re-buying my Vans Era's whenever i need a new pair of kicks.

I'm kinda off spending tons of money on sneakers anymore lately though. I've gotten rid of a bunch. Freeruns and Roshes made me realize that all my other shoes aren't comfortable and I hardly wear anything else anymore.
