My Sophomore Fall semester in college.

All the way up to Freshman year college, I had never got a D or F before in life. Spring semester of my first year college, I got a D, and they didn't care too much, especially since it happened as my dad's mom was sick, so he had bigger things to worry about.

But seeing that report card come in........I was COMPLETELY shook when I read it. I thought I would get all C's, and one F, which was for a class I had just stopped going to. But man, FOUR D's AND a F? I got an A in Biology, but would have to re-take five damn classes...smmfh.

Surprisingly, he wasn't mad, and I just gave a very sad story on how tough the semester was for me. Thing is, it was NOT a result of me partying too much, which is all people assume. I didn't go to a single party on a school night the entire semester....I didn't even have a girl come over my apartment that whole damn semester, I got zero play that year. I did nothing BUT play video games that whole semester, though.

That our dog had died pretty much ripped my heart out, and he took it so hard at first.

shit is actually making me tear up right now just thinking about it.

Moms and my pops divorced in the 70's, but they had known each other since they were little kids. She took it pretty hard.
