but of those i can't decide between blue and yellow.

i'd get pretty sick of 70 degree weather - especially in the summer. and all of the rain...ugh.

plus i understand how averages work - a 70 degree average doesn't mean the temp is usually 70. temps could range wildly but average out at 70. but that's true in all cases in the OP.

anyway, 80 degree average is more attractive b/c there's less rain plus i'm assuming it's in a tropical location if a predictably damaging storm is coming through every 2 yrs - that sounds like hurricane season. i'm not fan of that either. but it maybe the lesser of 2 evils here.

EDIT: but now i think red is the best option b/c at least i wouldn't deal w/crazy amounts of rain and no hurricanes. and i prefer heat over cold. 95 average is bad and since it's an average temps could spike higher on certain days. ugh. maybe it's the lesser of 3 evils though.

fuck you.

and I personally hate when it rains, but technically speaking rain water is needed for sustenance. Out of the four options, it is the most optimal. Just have to holla at a proper Gore-Tex jacket and you're good to go I suppose.

That's 255 1/2 days of the year during which your location is covered with rain. Humidity. Added traffic. Little to no fucking sun.

That's 8.5 months of rain! That's as if it started raining January 1st... and IT DIDN'T STOP RAINING UNTIL HALFWAY THROUGH SEPTEMBER 12TH.

I can deal with rain. I can't deal with it feeling like 107 degrees outside, day in and day out.

Admittedly, you can't talk to a southerner about the weather from May to October.

We're basically delirious from heat stroke.

In fact, this is exactly how we're living right now:

So, no.

That said, it's a dry heat, as they say. I'd rather put up with that than 80 degrees and muggy.

27. "Let's assume it was raining for every single AM hour for you."
In response to Reply # 20

That means it would've rained 504 hours during your 6-week stay, or 50% of the total time you were there. Still not close to 70%. 70% would be if it rained from 12:00:00 AM to 4:48:00 PM. Every single day of the year.

And you said it was *dry* by noon, which means realistically it didn't stop raining at 11:59:59 AM, but sometime before that.

And you were only there for 6 weeks. 504 hours would 5.6% of the year. It needs to rain 6132 hours in a calendar year to constitute 70% of the time.

70% of the time is insane.

But I grew up in and currently live in New England. So I deal with plenty of people who make statements like that. The "but 9 months of endless snow and freezing cold miserableness makes me appreciate the 2.5 weeks of sun and summer way more!!" crowd.

FUCK outta here with that ridiculous, psychopathic bullshit. Not a single human on earth would take New England weather over daily sun, ESPECIALLY not because "hey that two weeks of sun is EXTRA sweet cause I'm miserable the rest of the year! " I just loathe that kind of statement and it makes me homicidal every time I read or hear it.

But, like you said the options weren't all that great in general. But I still think you're certifiably insane if you or anyone would actually prefer 8.5 months of rain and 3.5 months of sun over sun everyday but just a little hotter. PSYCHOPATHIC.

Phoenix yearly avg temperature gotta be in the high 80's/low 90's range. I tuff it out for love, family, and career, but I'm not a fan of persistent heat and I find the sun annoying.

Rain makes me smile and puts my mind at ease. Makes music sound better, movies look better, video games more fun, food more delicious....

plus everyone is different. plus the poll is asking us to choose the lesser of 4 evils. it's not asking which of those choices is ideal.

I'm not a fan of heat. I miss Boston so much now having lived in Georgia the last 19/20 years. I loathe summer in Georgia. And where I am which is closer to Eatonton than Atlanta is pure scorching. It's literally 10 degrees warmer out here than in Atlanta. I really can't take it. I'd rather deal with constant rain and comfortable temps all year than scorching humid 95-100 degree heat for months and months.
