"It's funny what you can learn from a 35+ YO game show..."
I was watching reruns of "Match Game '78"
(Don't judge me, that show was funny as can be for that time and is STILL funny...and I had a crush on Fannie Flagg...again, Don't judge me...lol)
Anyway, there was a question involving questionable character witnesses. Most went with Nixon and Haldeman (it is 1978) and Mary Wickes answers "Dr. Crippen". Gene Rayburn (and everyone else there basically) were like o_O, so Wickes gave a brief description of his story, so I looked it up...he is the first official example of "you can't outrun the police radio"
Have criminals, a century later, learned this lesson yet...Nooooooooooooo....lol
