"Fellas with game-- do you call first or text first?"
I used to always call, but stopped after I tried calling this one woman a while back and not hearing from her after calling a couple times (I didn't leave a message) was going to just drop the number, but at the time a younger co-worker of mine said only creepers call to set up dates and that it was all about texting. So from then on I only called if I ended up dating someone, but not to start the process. I figured even if there was the ocassional woman who preferred a phone call that I would be fine based on what I imagined the odds to be. Also since most women online seemed to suggest calling I figured doing the opposite might be the way to go. Now if a woman said "call me" or something like that I would, but otherwise not.
Anyway, recent events have made me wonder if that's the best course of action.
Another related question for both genders:
That thing women do when you're setting up plans and the texts stop after the guy responds to "so what day(s) are you free? "
Is this a way of asking to call without asking or what? I was just going to wait a few days and send a follow up, but then I thought "I should just call her". Which I guess means... I probably should. Things went dark about 24 hrs ago.
