I was just scratching lines into this paper and remembered this game my cousin Chanda used to play called SOS. It was like big board tic tac toe where you tried to spell SOS or something like that.

My cousin Jerell (not to be confused w/my cousin Jerrel) showed me 21, but with 7/0 skunk, he was bigger and actually hooped, I lost a lot.

My cousin Armand used to play soldiers w/me and taught me how to tie a lasso to a branch and when you'd step on the spot you could get roped up. I was maybe 6 when I learned that.

None of us are close now and there's a dozen more stories from growing up; but I'm glad I had cousins during that time.
