I would put the first, 4 - 5 seasons of The Jeffersons up against ANY SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN SITCOMS. After that, the show began to escalate down hill fairly quickly after the first 5 seasons.

Ground breaking show for its time and it still holds up well.
Very memorable, but underrated show.
