Like just walk, eat something while walking throw the trash on the ground. Throw it out the window. Leave it in ur seat on the train or bus. Leave it in a chair at someone's home.
Like how is the concept of put trash in the trashcan not religiously adhered to. Holding it for even 20 minutes until u can find a trash can is not hard

a lot of other things. like you and i wouldn't think to do this. but a lot of people have neglectful parents. :/
edit: unattentive parents is probably a better word. because it's not exactly neglect if your child bites their nails or litters. you may just have to work and are not there a lot at age 2,3,4,5 to be constantly on them about basic things like put it away, put it in the trash, stop biting your nails, sit up straight etc.

my little brother was stationed in SC for a minute while in the Army. He had a long weekend and him and some friends decided to rent a car and drive up the east coast. When he got to Philly he called me and kept telling me how filthy it was. He was really appalled at how much trash was every where. I couldnt get anything else out of him about the city other than it was dirty.

...when he mentioned cigarette butts. It's like a grip of smokers think the world is their trash can. I hated policing the smokers' area since I didn't even smoke. Inconsiderate bastards.

It's considered criminal littering with an added modifier 'cause the a lit cigarette is considered destructive. Personally, I'd like to have it pushed to a class 4 felony.
It's too dry out here to be doing dumb shit like that. I've witnessed a DPS officer come clear across 3 highway lanes on I10 to hit his lights after a glowing butt was tossed out of a car one night. It couldn't have been for any other reason 'cause he was riding parallel to the car in front of me so there was no way to have seen the plate to run it.

Just realized I haven't littered in a long time But 20 mins is a subway ride where I could have my phone in my hand reading something It's awful I know But this city is awful in general when it comes to trash Constantly full ass garbage cans were rats and roaches live
We really need to invest more in cleaning and trash collection

Now I'm sorry ur city doesn't do a good job of emptying it's trash cans, that's something I wouldn't expect of the "greatest city in the world"

These are the worst: the congregates that will select a block, meet up, blast music, drink throw the bottles everywhere, order junk food and trash it everywhere.
And, some residents think it is okay. I hate that form of apathy(folks refuse to call the city...). but they pay taxes, too.

There is trash all over in my neighborhood, but there are no trashcans. THe city has trashcans everywhere downtown, but when you are in a normal neighborhood there ain't a trashcan to be found.
Granted a lot of it is trifling ass people but I think it's bullshit that the city spends money on anti-litter campaigns rather than trashcans.
