and i too feel bad for her and i understand her struggle and that of the other ex-wives. especially the other ex-wives b/c Bruce was SO FUCKING PRETTY then. and to lose him...it's sad.

and i'm not surprised Bruce did a poor job explaining all of this to Kris. i dunno if he was working w/anyone who could've advised him about how to handle the transition and the impact it would have on his family. i dunno that he was part of a community that could've helped him and helped all of them. but that's a large part of why such communities exist. hopefully Caitlyn has plugged in to some support networks.

mom saw how her act could impact her daugther - indeed, her daughter consented to the tape being sold. considering the tape was going to be sold, mom decided to be sure her daughter would be paid. she seems willing to live w/the consequence of the decision.

This is the key. That tape was already out there/coming out... completely out of their control. So... she, brilliantly, took some of that control back. I'm not exactly how that, in and of itself, is exploitive.

You can either sue or make a deal. Suing is fine, but you're really not gonna prove anything and it's gonna come out anyway so why not just settle and get some of the profits or whatever?
