"Soundcloudify: dope new music plugin for chrome" Wed May-27-15 12:17 PM by dapitts08
Found out about this plugin this morning and love it. The beauty is in the search function ... not the pre-populated options as for deep house they were all a miss for me. But when I searched for deep house i found some winning mixes. you can also favorite tracks and create playlists. So if you use soundcloud or youtube for music discovery this plugin is a no brainer. And it is open source. Win!
Partial Swipe:
SoundCloudify is a slick YouTube- and SoundCloud-powered music player for Chrome
Google Chrome is both my productivity hub and the bane of my existence. I’d gladly switch to something else, but its support for useful extensions makes it an essential part of my workflow. Even in 2015, I fire up Winamp when I need some music to keep me going at work — I’m old-school like that. For new tracks, I usually head to YouTube or SoundCloud, but thanks to a new Chrome extension, I can tune in without launching a new tab. SoundCloudify lets you stream music from both those sources in a neat and clean interface. You can search YouTube and SoundCloud simultaneously or check out charts for genres ranging from reggae to trip-hop to start listening. It also pulls in the hottest tracks from r/music on Reddit.

a lot of the acts i listed up top come with the same flavor, but yeah, Dixon is the best right now. check out his set from the Exit festival in Serbia as well. I saw him live a couple of times and of course he tore down the house as per usual.
