"What's your take on the 'OK' hand gesture?"

When I was growing up it always meant A-OK. It's not a gesture I see commonly in offline life now.

But these days I see it cast as much in a negative light as positive. Some people say 666 or apparently in some cultures it's just offensive.

What's your take? Do you see it much offline/off media?

prior to that it was shorthand fo "all is well"

seems to have been superceded by "thumbs up" or maybe (on a lower levevel) by just a straight point (I see you...)

We're not happy gesturing the relative mediocrity of OK-ness perhaps.

The thumbs up does feel that little bit more upbeat to me. Don't know why.
