I don't have kids yet. But this is one of the things I wonder about.
Like I'm gonna be tired and wanna sleep, but part of me is gonna wanna be Super Pops (bedtime story or like ovaltine) for those instances. But you can't be too awesome about it or they'll never sleep, right?

we usually let them come lay between us until they fall back to sleep which is basically what my folks did when i was a little kid now that i think about it
