Back when I used to get high I remember having to purchase supplies early b4 a holiday weekend bc otherwise my suppliers might sell out or be unavailable bc they left town or were busy partying themselves. I had a few holidays that were a bust bc I didnt shop early. Oh...the good times. Do party ppl still operate that way?

I mean, if you're going to a major party (booze barge, festival), then there would be plenty of sources there, as long as you have a few connects.
If you're doing something more remote, then, yeah, you'd need to level up before the weekend. It sucks for me b/c I'm in a new city. So, no connects, because I don't have ish to do this weekend. So, it'd be perfect to roll for old time sakes. Oh, well...

I tried that and got burned bc all my sources had sold out or weren't holding at all bc they were partying. That's why I learned to stock up ahead of time.

i have partied in major cities (Chicago, SF, NYC, even Detroit) on major holidays (all of them) and learned these lessons as a result. back when i was still in that life i learned to shop early. so on a weekend like the one coming up i'd have my shopping done by tomorrow evening at the latest. i wouldn't be caught out there trying to cop on Saturday and definitely not on Sunday. by Monday it's a wrap!
friends get understandably stingy when it comes to this issue.
back when i bought that stuff i didn't buy 'extra' for others. i had enough for myself and anyone who'd asked me to cop for them. so folks who came late and wanted me to share some ___ were likely to be assed-out (unless we're talking something obviously shareable like weed or maybe blow).
