I wanted that shit bad at the time and didn't want to spend a week wondering if that was $450 well spent. plus that's an expensive thing to just have floating in the USPS for a week.
But generally I only order real small stuff I can't find quickly in real life like audio converters, and mostly just clothes from JackThreads. Their second tier shipping is literally the same except the last day estimate is one day sooner. Most of those options always look like short cons to me there and on Amazon.

Hate how they all doing this last mile pass off shit with USPS.... USPS STAY fumbling the final play... Once watched my shit stall out in Greenbelt for 3-days while USPS dragged their feet about making the last mile delivery into Arlington....

had the exact same thing happen. Tracking info said "out for delivery". Next thing I know, it's making all the stops it made prior to being in El Paso, and ending back up somewhere at the sender's address. Had to wait another week without Fifa

I got hold of the direct phone number to the manager's office.... so yeah...I be calling them direct off jump now....they been through like 3 managers since I obtained that number...EACH time I call and it's a new manager...they be real surprised that I even HAVE their direct line at all lol... like...HOW DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER?? is the first thing they ask...

If I'm unsure I'll wait or expedite if it's only a few dollars more.
I always check to see where they are shipping from. Shipping from the East coast? I'll have it by the end of the week, west coast? I'll pay a little more to not wait an entire week or week and a half.

One benefit of living in a country the size of California. You can even specify a time frame for delivery or have the package dropped off at a local convenience store if you're not going to be at home.
Though if you're really pressed for same you can get it same day..Though it costs extra of course.
You can even do C.O.D in Japan unlike the U.S.
