i'm curious who has experience with either or both of these services/products. i need better blades and a cheaper way to get em.
i'm leaning towards Harry's because i only shave like once a week, sometimes twice. they have a plan that would fit that better. but i'm also asking yalls opinion on quality, price, service etc.

I shave 3 times/week on average. I do the bi-monthly plan (blades delivered every other month)... And they deliver right on time...and you discover you need more or less you can change the frequency easily. I use the double blades...triple is too harsh on my face....
The blades are high quality and I usually change my blade once every 8 days or once a week.......
Their price is pretty solid IMO....also great to always have blades on deck...one less thing I gotta pick up from Target.

are literally doing 2+ more times the damage to your top layer of skin it would seem.
Also technique is a huge part of it.
I HAVE to go against the grain to get a smooth close shave. Despite all the instructionals out there.... the combination of a quality shave cream and against the grain keeps my face smooth, bump free, and my skin doesn't dry out.

goatee in check.... Those multiblade joints also seem to be more abrasive and don't really live up to the promise of having to make fewer passes because there are more blades....
I shave with the grain first pass... Then against the grain the 2nd pass..
and then followup with grain again if necessary. It's the only way I can get a smooth shave with my course facial hair.
The shave cream they sell is truly the best shave cream i've ever used though...no joke...what I like best is that it goes on clear so you can actually see what you're shaving...important for maintaining proper shape if you have a beard of any style.

I bought at least 30 and then with my wfes order i was over $50 bucks so got free shipping--so its not a monthly free ship option.
I also go through long periods where I dont shave so I dont have to cancel my subscription. I just have a huge stash of razors (which dont take up that much space adn dont dull in storage) and use em whenever I feel like it.
