Realistically I don't think there's a win for Joan. Best thing she could do is take the quarter and bounce. Even if she takes the half, she still had to sleep for it so there's no way for her to win the principle battle. She can only somewhat win the money battle with the quarter. But even with the quarter, I don't think Mad Men will end well for her. She seems very unhappy no matter what. Even when she was a partner she couldnt appreciate the growth/progress she's made. She cried about clients harassing her and once against resented Peggy. It's either feast or famine with her. She doesn't know how to take a big win with a small loss. I don't care for her or Don.

And though she didn't get all of her money it looks like she will end up with the kind of man she wants, at least. Plus she has a great resume and references (from the SCP folks and clients). She is one of my favorites.

She fucked for the loot, did exceptional work and still getting half what's owed to her.
