If you have a Uniqlo store in your area, check out their jeans. For years I had problems finding jeans that fit. Uniqlo fits me pretty good and they have two different versions of the basic jean, the new denim version and a distressed somewhat worn version which of course is softer. Japanese selvedge denim if your into that
They will also top stitch hem them for you as well.. Price is about 50 bucks (in the U.S.) I see alot of boutique jeans in the downtown where I live but I can't mess with the prices. I will make my own jeans before I drop $300 on a pair.

I'm old school tho... I'm not paying too shelf for denim. I buy a few paid, wash them bitches and then toss them out and buy new ones every few years.
