This is a thing on facebook now? I'm totally cool with flag-burning, stomping, desecration. I'm especially cool with shit that makes white people mad on facebook...but this shit? Is this really being done to honor some kid who brought a gun to an on-campus protest?

This new trend, the Flag Stomping Challenge, is no exception. If you are so motivated to stomp on an american flag due to your disdain of the system or current events, it shouldn't have taken a FB trend to move you to action. Stop bandwagon jumping on every little thing that comes by. Independent thought seems to be almost non-existent anymore.
That said, for those that are so upset by this trend, I say this:
If you are spitting fire at those exercising their freedom of expression by stomping on a piece of cloth (that was more than likely made in a sweatshop in another country btw) but you show no outrage for the fact that the police are killing unarmed citizens in the streets as a policy, taking the laws that govern the country (that the american flag represents) into their own hands...I really have to question your way of thinking. To choose an patriotic ideal over human lives...SMH

Don't stomp on the flag, it's disrespectful, but it was cool for her dumb ass to pose naked with the flag draped in front of her for a photo shoot when U.S. Code distinctly stated otherwise;
(b) The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.
(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free.
Straight out hypocrisy...it's the american way. SMH
