"Will Marilyn Mosby still be praised when she charges rioters/ protestors..." Fri May-01-15 06:11 PM by Case_One
(many who were teens) that will be identified as participants in criminal activity, such as throwing rocks at police, looting, arson, etc.? Will the Baltimore and he nation still support her for doing the job that she's been elected to perform and after warrants have been issued and arrest have been made?
This is a reality that will happen, because we all know that the law never forgets or forgives without have a court date and collecting money.
EDIT: I believe this will be a tricky situation and if not handled well things could get ugly in the city. But how should the matter be handled?

and I'm just worried about the misguided and impulsive youth that will be charged with felonies and misdemeanors that will leave lasting negative impacts. In addition to the financial impact that will be felt by the parents.
And you know that many adults will be charged - flat out!

she may be right or wrong in this situation...just like she may be right or wrong in another as long as she learns and keep upholding the laws on the books she will be ok i dont expect a flawed system to get it right on every occasion she is being praised becuase of her due dillegence so far she may be a villia by the time this goes to trial thats life

Quite frankly it's really unfair to discuss this right now given the circumstances. Whether rioters are charged or not and the community's response to this woman is irrelevant because the message the got across to the people in power:
DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS INJUSTICE BESIDES LET THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH MURDER.
Have you listened to actual people in the community speak about the riot itself?
Here I'll do the leg work for you Case and you tell us how the people in the community feel:

I watched he Baltimore City DA speak on the matter herself.
And people should not let the moment cloud the long road ahead and this is what Black People (OUR Communities) seem to fall prey to in many instances. The anticipated fallout from this whole situation is still up on the air like a volcano ash cloud. Those police that were arrested is just the beginning of things and some are out on bail already, which is an additional issue. But I digress. I want my people to "STAY WOKE" during the entire process and not become intoxicated with the first step and then forget the next 99.

Why would people in that community be upset someone was charged for destroying things in that community? Specificially, the guy cutting the fire hose on television as an example. This post plays into "their" hands anyway.
Like I said, let's keep the focus on the main issue that involves seeing rogue police officers brought to justice. It's too early for push for this because of the circumstances. Don't think the DA will let anyone get off free that is identified as being responsible for criminal acts.
On a personal note it kind of scares me that police can arrest me for no reason other than looking guilty. We need reform not deflection. In all honesty you could've posted this in one of the threads and saved a topic for someone else.
