"If you're debating on going to Vegas this weekend: Don't"
Can't tell you how many people have asked me about going to Vegas for the big fight - and I tell them all the same thing:
No.
I have a press pass and I'm debating on selling it just because i'd almost rather be focused and intent in my living room as opposed to sifting through the ratchet debacuhery of the weekend.
But if you don't have a ticket or a hook-up in Vegas? Sounds like hell on earth.
The Days Inn pool party gonna be like $80 to get into, so lol @ people thinking they can just wing it and get into any event.
Unless you have a hook-up and/or money ain't a thang because you come from Dubai Oil $, save yourself and stay home.

I knew that I wasn't in for that trip but I was still paying attention to the e-mails. That plan didn't hold up very long so now they're all coming to Florida for the weekend & we're going to a new sports bar to watch it.

tripled by the time I got my tax return. He told me that no Casino but MGM is allowed to even show the fight in Vegas. And the MGM bars are even charging patrons who are staying there to come in and wathced the fight. $400 for entry which includes open bar and buffet. But that's per person!!!!

Most of us hate Vegas on big weekends after we're 25...so this is another one that most of my crowd has no intention on going to. I'm only going if I get a big enough last minute gig.

unless they had an actual business to do the stripping. The 15 freeway is busy enough on any given weekend. Enough cops patrolling and in the skies watching for shit. On all-star weekend I imagine that their presence was tenfold.

believe that they got at leaaaaast a few cars. I doubt it was a huge operation, but it was still shocking to hear.
They said there are some smaller tow companies ran/owned by hood folks, or folks with deep enough connections...which I believe. And what I have seen in the South a lot of times is that dudes would tow their own cars in town to save mileage, mainly for those sports cars and those "donks" with big ass rims. That's extremely common, and the cops probably don't bother them because it looks legit.

damn I could definitely see them getting away with towing cars. Like you said it's not like cops are pulling tow trucks over to make sure they are operating legally. But the stripping shit is just crazy. Seems like some villain oceans 11 shit.

My client is based out of Vegas and I have to slide out there once in a blue moon to handle shit in person. Just so happens this week is one of those times.

I counted no fewer than 10 Louis Vuitton duffles, the veracity to which I can't speak. When I got to Vegas, the first piece of luggage to hit the carousel was an igloo cooler.

I didn't witness or hear about a single incident. The demand to get into the parties was crazy. Dudes were paying $250 and waiting hours to party on the deck OUTSIDE of Jay-Z's party. I was lucky enough to have a hookup, so I didn't have to pay any covers or wait in any lines.

so I wasn't taking no ass pics.
This wasn't the foodie vacation I'd hoped for. Meals were kinds improvised on the fly. Wicked Spoon Buffet (Cosmopolitan) was fire, tho: ceviches, bone marrow w/kimchee sauce, chicken and rabbit paella. Really foodie shit for a buffet. Breakfast at Hash House A-Go-Go was good. Brunch at Tod English's P.U.B was pretty good too, but this weekend wasn't really about the food.
