i guess both jorn and derek anderson wore low top concords in games so those were passable to me. i bought them but have yet to wear them. infared lows seemed gimmicky to me and i dont think i will get the bred ones either. have the 3/4 cut in three different incarnations already (though i havent worn the latest ones, prolly sell em). i got the gtown ones but i am still forming an opinion on them. but i cant say that i dont like XI lows, the cherry red ones were fire, loved those in college. for some reason the UNC ones were super comfortable to me, i liked the leather in place of the mesh. navy snakes were cool, too, i rocked the fuck outta all three of those.

Furthermore, the Dub Zero and Six Rings had potential but IMO were never executed well and should be both be banned from human consumption for anyone who is not a Dominican barber or a 60+ year old man in a velour jumpsuit.

Some of the ones that "only" combine two models are OK. The 5.5 (Melo) was a respectable shoe. The 16.5 was a very good shoe for ball, and I have to assume that other such XVII-tooled ones were also.

They don't feel as good as the 10's do/did, but I like em. I couldn't figure out what to do on NikeID, so I copped the 23 Chromosomes.

I had several pairs of this exact color back in the day, been fiending to replace them. Finally found one in great shape at a reasonable price:

I also have been filling in gaps in my Jordan collection, deciding to focus solely on Vs, XIs, XIIs, and XIIIs. Got French Blue XII, playoffs (second pair), obsidians (third pair), nubucks and Flu Games, though I sold the Flu Games because someone made me a great offer. Also got CDP He Got Game XIIIs and both Altitudes. So now I have all the high top XIIIs ever made up until the recent crappy ones (Barons, 3Ms, etc).

I've been doing the same with Foam Pros, I have pretty much all of the ones with the original foam (not the new cheap shit) except the black/volt OG Foot Action ones and the Dr Dooms. I should never had sold my Dooms.

I been fuckin with the Curry 1, have Underdog, MI30 and the first ones (blue/yellow). I hope they do a highlight version, the lows look clean but I will probably pass. Good shoe, had potential to be great. I finally balled in the blue ones last night, overall I just didn't have to think about them like most UA hoops shoes. Good use a little more forefoot flexibility, but they breathe better than expected so that's a plus.

I got some Melo M11s. *Great* shoe for ball. More structure than the XX9 and slightly firmer but essentially has the same tooling. Not real high but provide excellent ankle support. I was disappointed with the M10, way inferior to the XX8, but these actually outperform their "big brother" so to speak.

Running shoes I haven't gotten much except a pair of Brooks Transcend and some Asics Kinsei 5. Kinsei 5 might be my favorite Kinsei yet, featherweight, very cushioning. The IV had a little more to the upper, if I actually ran in them I'd like that better. The Transcend is a very cushy shoe but also offers support, unique feel to it. Overpriced at $160, great deal at $60 (Nordstrom's Rack, son!).

I have been fucking with the BHM Adidas stuff, got the Roses, great shoe with nice leather, and also the Walls, which look cool but are poorly ventilated and not as cushioned as they appear.

I also got some more LeBron X Elite IDs, basically buying up factory returns and pairs people never wore at a discount. Love the X Elite and love having it in unique colors. I got some LeBron XIIs but they are pretty much hot garbage. Weak concept. I wonder if the Elites are any good

and man, you should try the Lows. I wasn't blown away by the regular 12s but the lows this time around are actually the better shoe.

The white/gold looked OK. I think the LeBronald Palmers are ugly AF though. Any time they GR a previously sought-after thing (see What the LeBron!?! XI and What the Kobe!?! IX Elite) that shit is heavily bammerized.

Does the XII low also have that annoying rigid piece at the lateral side of the shoe just below your toes? I hate that about the 12s and I really hated it about the 11 Elites. Maybe it's not an issue for you, I think I remember you liking the KD 5 Elite and that means you have a narrow/narrow-ish foot. I liked the LeBron 9 low, 10 was hideous, 11 seemed kind of cheaply made. These look stronger. I don't like playing in lows much but I wear bball shoes almost every day off the court, too.

You can find returned IDs at outlets often and at great prices. There is also a seller on eBay called Iconic Footwear that has a wide selection of them. His prices vary from $150 to $300, just depends on the model and demand. He will discount via direct payment, too. I also just shop for collectors with buyer's remorse. Sometimes you can turn a profit on them, too, like I will often buy up Kobe 2 and 4 IDs at cheap prices and flip them (sometimes I keep a pair, I liked those models).

I still don't think they've gotten back to the level of the 10s, but I liked them more than the regular 12s (I think, haven't played in the NSRL joints yet) and way more than the two pairs of low 10s I have. I didn't even cop the 11 lows, they looked like a rehash of the 10 with slight changes

on the lows, that lateral piece is a little further back and slightly differently shaped, I think it makes a difference

for a low top, the lows have a lot of stability, but are also pretty light on the foot. it's a good combo

and on the outside edge, that frame that kinda stops your foot from flexing is still there, but it's just at the back of the foot, and doesn't extend nearly as far, so it's on a part of your foot that doesn't bend anyway

they look like regular kd7s with special materials, more like a premium release. i fuck with those but i dont like the kd7 overall. looks better on TV than in person (some of the ncaa tourney colors were fire) and it continues the tradition of the narrow, flimsy kd models.

i got some 6 elites, the blue/gold ones, not bad.

i sold my entire collection, about 80 pairs, 3 years ago.
finally decided to pull the plug on these maxes.

Tried em on out of curiosity(they were $50 in store at FTL). Extremely comfortable, no brainer. Copped the grey. Tried to store locate the black, but no luck.

First pair of adidas since the Crazy 8s originally dropped. Might go for a Tubular next.

i wanted to get some but the FLs near me had only fugly ass colors, like weird dark red and also gray ones that had fucked up patterns all over the upper.

i did get some response boost for $23 at a ross. nice shoe, classic response setup but with boost foam instead of adiprene inserts.

i want to get the ultra boost but i am waiting out a price drop. they had one weird green colorway at the adidas outlet two, get one free day but there wasnt much else i was feeling. the rocket boost seems cool, very breathable. those will out there cheap soon for sure.

like i liked the idea of an all patent black IV but they came out too shiny and too crinkly. how are they gonna charge $250 for some shit and use cheap leather with a cheap finish? then again these are the same fucks who used to sell foams that would last forever for $170, and now that they are $230 they are plastic, easily destructible pieces of shit.
