a house party me and my roommates threw (because of an unrelated drunken misunderstanding a few of us were having). homie def had a few too many and was trying to drive back to NYC from Philly in the middle of the night. ultimately i couldnt stop him, but i was up all night like a concerned parent til he checked in. i doubt i would have ever taken it this far, but i dont blame dude

I drove from Philly to New York after an Amy Winehouse concert in 2007, but I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out 2 days earlier. I stopped and slept/writhed in pain at each rest stop on the turnpike. It took me like 5 hours to make what should have been a 2 hour trip. If that were now, I'd have been in a hotel room fast as hell that night.
Did one course where they got drunk and one where the stayed awake for 30 hours. Comparatively, they found the tired people were worse drivers than the people who were drunk.
As a rule, I NEVER drive tired. When I drive down to Memphis from the east coast, I never do more than 8 hours straight in the car... even when I have someone driving with him. It's just too dangerous.
