They talked about this for about 4 minutes and then segued into how folks aren't responding appropriately to the SC shooting

For some reason I'm not mad at this at all.

I will say this. A few weeks ago I was speeding. Going 36 in a 25. A backstreet that gets me to my destination faster. There was a cop there and the lights flashed.

He asked me where I was going. I replied I had to take my son to my parents house so I can go to work. He said I was going 36 in a 25. He then explained that the people on that street specifically asked for a cop to sit there and observe how many people speed thru there using that road as a shortcut. He then asked me how old my son was. I said two almost three.

He said how would you feel if he were outside playing in the yard and a car sped by fast like that?

I replied I understood. He let me go with a warning.

So yeah I could have made a video about this just like this young man did.

But, I thought about it. He didn't. He didn't even get out the car. He said ten min ago this happened. So he didn't think it thru imo.

Because after I thought about it I realized this was a great interaction. But not all interactions are good. We demand justice for the bad interactions. And until we get that there is no reason to divert attention away from the injustice.
