"What is the rate of return on your retirement investments / stocks?"

And who are you with? Mine is 11.3 % since inception, 12% over 3 years. 7.8% over the last year. It means more than ONE THIRD of the money in my account, i didn't put there. It was returns. That blows my mind. Because on top of that money was the thousands I saved in taxes.

You can still money into your retirement accounts for this year BTW. I am still adding more money to get my tax bill as low as possible.

im in a set it and forget it mutual fund, ie if i retired in 2040 i'd have X amt and how to get me there

i need to look into how much the transaction fees are in there, cause i can use some of that money to be a little more daring...take a 3rd & put it in high dividend yield stocks, keep 66% in my nice safe mutual fund but then hopefully super charge my shit with some juicy stock

does it really matter?

wonder what bin's doing?

VTX2045 i think it's called and i'm getting that return for that.

With me it's not so set and forget because i put money in when I can or feel the pressure (Tax time) but its' set and forget in the sense that i'm not trading, have no strategy and i got 7.8% this year and 12% over the last 3 years.

just in february i made 1k doing nothing which blows my mind...
