Kendrick Lamar was recently put on full furnace blast by a dark-skinned activist for becoming engaged to a very light-skinned black woman. Lamar was thoroughly dismissed as a “fake conscious” rapper and a “coon” who doesn’t really like black people, particularly dark-skinned ones.

She's an insufferable, myopic, smart-dumb type who really thinks she's spitting some truth on some Nas shit.
I can't think of a single attractive quality she presents outside of an admirable self awareness. After that though? Blech. No thanks. Nothing to like. It's not her dark skin men don't like, it's her incessant nagging and lack of real understanding of whatever she's cackling about.

Particularly, when discussing the dating/partnering "preferences/habits" of cishet Black men.
But you know, kee kee @ the mad dark-skinned woman & what not when too many of us (Black people) can look @ the cishet couplings in our own families & barely find any that have a woman darker than the man.
I do wish Kendrick & his fiance the best tho. Also, props to both for saying, "height does not matter!!" lol.
