Cafe Rue is by far the best chicken and waffles amongst other foods I've ever had. So much so that we're having him do our rehearsal dinner. We would've had him do the wedding but preferred caterers.
Young black dude, that has a catering company, had a good truck but uses the restaurant as his test kitchen. Cooks the chicken tempura style and always has re ways to do the waffle. My favorite thing is his pulled pork on top of a cheddar cornbread waffle.
Anyways, it's more than chicken and waffles and I just wanted to shout out the okp becaon. Additionally if anyone wants to come out and have a brunch here, we're almost always game. It's worth whatever drive.
