Like ever try to use the metro apps like people, pictures, music, mail? All slower than desktop applications and way suckier.

If I am using a desktop or laptop which isn't touchscreen, why can't I just kill the metro interface altogether?

Ever try to add or switch back and forth with a bluetooth speaker? Easily 8 clicks to do so.

i just don't care about any of the changes nor do they bother me, every windows OS i used has always had some horrible aspect to it, if i need a program i just search for it in the start menu and there it is right away and all the associated files, that's gold to me. i honestly don't get why people hate it THAT much.

Even in Windows Server mode, the Metro UI doesn't work for people the way Win 7-back Windows does. Not intuitive at all.

On phones, tablets, touch monitors, etc. I think it really works.

but Microsoft was bugging making it their "real OS" at this stage in the game.

that being said, it's not as bad as Pissta, ME, or other known piles of Micro$hit.
