Because I wouldn't expect this song from her? Are you familiar with her catalog? She said it herself in an interview last week that it would be unexpected.

But I'm glad she didn't. I am getting a bit tired of the beyonce / rihanna dominance. I need a third black female pop singer. If my girl JM wants to step a bit out of the alternative shadow to share that spotlight I am all for it.
I love that girl even when I don't like her music. With Beyonce, its the opposite. Not of her fan of her personality per se but I cannot deny she has jams and I love her work ethic.
This yoga will be a hit with some of my female friends. Just based on the title alone...lol
>i might be wrong but i feel like ppl are gonna shit on it >just bc of who is singing it.* >i fux with it tho > > >*that was me doing an impression of armchair record execs btw >the song is good to me the hook more than anything tho

I dont like the yoga song. I became a fan in 2007, and she was so different and unique. I feel it's all just getting lost and she's becoming a little less special to me personally.
It tends to happen with all my favs, unfortunately.

Not feeling this joint. Not feeling Common-with-a-conk. Not feeling "Classic Man". Not feeling anything ATL-related at the moment (besides Matt Martians).
I mean I know what she's tryna do; slip in a message in a radio-friendly beat, on the Mary Mary tip, while put it in code of language full of innuendos. But nah. Not for me. I'll pass.
If the next song is on this vibe, not buying the EP. Ever since Electric Lady video, I've been kinda eh on her. She say she all for art and creativity, but I'm seeing less of it.
