Carol appears harmless but her meddling does more harm than good, eventually (burnt Cuttys lady at the prison w/ no regard).

The show has good episodes here and there, but there have been too many spots where the acting and writing hasn't been up to snuff, especially if you compare this show to the top tier drama shows.

its soooooooo slow some episodes that I'm literally fast forwarding through most of the scenes at this point. 8 to 10 episodes a year. no double seasons. if game of thrones was as many episodes as walking dead, it would fucking suck. pack all that action into less episodes and the shit would be tight again.

Rick executing old dude in front of Morgan brought things full circle, since Morgan has gone beyond the dark place Rick seems to be entering into a place of appreciating all life, even those that threaten him.
I think Morgan can be Rick's moral compass going forward.
The group kept its cool with Glenn not killing old dude and Sasha not killing Gabriel, thus not falling into the traps seemingly laid out before them.
Only one who showed no mercy was Rick, but that was a different type of judgment in that it was sanctioned, thus passing for justice.
