"and this too shall pass"


  

          

we usually say or read that regarding tragedy or something negative happening

Im always waitin for the bottom to fall out when things are going good

and this too..the good..shall pass as well, right?

It's not so much as it passing but what it means for the future. That's the worst part about tragedy.

For instance, I remember a time when being a black youth meant innocence on the part of the world to an extent. That innocence was forever lost in 2013 thanks to the 24 hour news cycle and social media. WE remember the good times for our youth but now they have to live with knowing how the world feels about them and the fact that no such thing as innocence exists unless you're white.

learn how to deal with the bad times... so you are not afraid of them or worried about it happening... because you will know how to deal with it when it happens...

then you can savor the good times...
