A lot of high-level strippers cake heavy off of their social media rep/numbers, and charge exorbitant feature fees to dance in the top clubs around the country, in part because of their social media presence.
So while a lot of it is unhinged ratchetry, there is a legitimate business utility to it for women who work in the adult business.
No clear career (besides "modeling") plus fake tits and or ass and extensions, expensive trips and clothes, highly sexualized often near naked photos = hooker. Hookers have moved their advertising to twitter and Instagram.
