At that age, they start to actually understand reason and logic SOMEWHAT. I have the toughest time dealing with completely illogical behavior. Don't get me wrong, there are still big struggles. That never goes away, it just evolves.

Had a fucked up tantrum, flipped out when I tried to pick her up, fell out of my arms and busted her lip on the floor.
Now, part of me was definitely like, "OH NO! MY BAYBAH!"... but there was like 10% of me that was like, "Thanks, floor. You handed out the asswhoopin' I couldn't."
If you have a kid over 2 and you ain't never wanted to fight them, something is wrong with your kid.

LOL! Mine just turned 3 too. Pray for me. She is very demanding. How can someone so little be so demanding? She uses her cuteness for evil. I'm floored by her at least once a day.
And, she kicks hard as f*ck! I can't stand sleeping in the same bed as her. We went to the beach for her birthday weekend and she kicked me dead in my chest. That shit hurt!

He's never thrown a tantrum in a grocery store or a mall or nothing like that. However, let us pass a Burger King and find out he's not getting anything...that car ride gets really noisy.
He seems to learn his lesson...and as little boys, sometimes you gotta let them fall flat on their face, like my son did the other day when he jumped off my bed and found out the floor was a lot further down than he anticipated

My daughter did for the very first time a couple of weeks ago because...we couldn't get a cart shaped like a car at the grocery store. She was really distraught about that shit too. And, she couldn't have "choc-o-late" aka M&Ms.
I was so ready to go black mommy on that ass, but I kept my cool. Took her home and put her little fussy ass to bed!
Usually she's a good girl. She just has her moments. And, she is stubborn as hell when it comes to the potty.
