Curious how to handle this one

I work fulltime

and I have a consulting job thats taking up the next 6 months

is it bad form to add the consulting job to my current work if I am connected to my boss and a few other employees?

So far I've been on the ball, nothing is getting in the way of doing my main job and just about everybody on the tech and design side of things has a side gig

I'm just not sure how to approach this one

I'd wait until the consulting gig was complete to add it

I don't add people I've worked with until after the fact.

I mean working a full time job and having a side job....

That way, (1) you will know whether the project was successful enough to want to reference and (2) if you ARE linked to people on the 9-5, it might not be as counterproductive, especially if you can keep up at the regular job throughout the duration of the consulting gig.
