So today's my wife's birthday, and we don't normally do birthday presents, but I thought I'd get her something. I decided to take a stroll at lunch and found a cute little boutique. A gorgeous young lady (clearly a model or former model) helped me find her a cute dress.
A coupe hours later, I googled the boutique because I'd never heard of it before, which somehow led me to the young lady's linkedin which in turn led me to her facebook (one mutual friend). Next thing I know I'm looking at profile pics from 2011.
An innocent series of clicks turned mad stalkery in a matter of minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if she's sought a restraining order on me.

I creeped my lady out about a month ago. We were trying to find vendors for the wedding stuff. And as we were in mid conversation I'd do a dive through people's online presence. I had all kinds of facebooks, past work, THOSE peoples profiles, associated tagged pictures up, etc.
I realized it was creepy but we got the answers we were looking for. But damn if she didn't look at me different.

by a simple google search. If you feel too much info is available after you do the search you should work to close accounts, contact website admins to pull the info etc etc.
I recently got creeped out on LinkedIn when someone I met on another site and had only chatted on kik w/o giving my real name viewed my profile. Scared the shit out of me.

BUT..... whenever one visits the site... by accident of course... somehow or another....the site KNOWS that certain person previously had an account with LInkedIN before they got greedy and started trying to charge real $ for that shit....and proceeds to semi log that person in....
so yeah....in that same instance....one proceeds to review profiles...while the LinkedIN robot continually prompts that someone to renew their membership so that they can review the entire profile of the people that they've accidentally found themselves on the page of...
Can said people actually SEE that the person who's site is not currently active browsed their profile???
