Personally, I don't 100% agree or disagree with either one of them. But my thing with Charlamagne is this: He's been fired from 4 different stations. Yes, he's doing better now, but based on that alone he should feel where Dame is coming from in terms of ownership. So it's great that you're so happy about your "check" now... until the next time you get fired. You don't need to own your own radio station, but at some point using the name you've built you can work your own platform. He seems to have no interest in that, which is his choice, but the point still remains.
Same with Envy. He's a prominent DJ. Whereas you take someone like DJ Vlad who doesn't have nearly the same credibility, and he has established his own platform, with literally one camera, one light, one ugly couch.. and pulls many of the same guests that the Breakfast Club does, only he owns his content.
They can pick at some of the shaky details of Dame's interview all day, but they should also take a hard look at what they're doing.
