So the issue is you weren't ready for your daughter to know about race relations? Or you disagree w/the worldview and you don't want your daughter exposed to it?

Welcome to world that black and hispanic parents have to face every day. I mean you are scared that your 8 year old had to learn that gosh darn, the world is not equal and the darker you are the more likely you are going to deal with racism.
OH the INHUMANITY!!!! SHAME ON THE DARKIES! BLACK HISTORY PROGRAMS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN EVERYWHERE AND BLACK PEOPLE NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR ACTUALLY WANTING TO EDUCATE THE KIDS ON WHATS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD TODAY.

If you have a problem with Black History Month, then maybe you should talk to your State Senator and your Department of Education about making Black History, American History. And, maybe if they stopped white washing black history, this wouldn't even be an issue.
