Okay so over the past 4 weeks i've gotten cool with 3 coworkers. All women.
A, B and C
A and B are tight..they hang out outside the workplace, go on double dates n shit. Always laughing and joking together.
C is a weird sort. I can tell she don't have many friends outside of work so I allow her to get a dose of alladis *vanna white hands* during breaks and lunch.
Lunch
We all sit in the same area at lunch. Fairly large room but we all shoot the shit. It also is painfully obvious that when we're all together, A and B don't fuck with C.
This became a bit evident 2 Fridays ago when A suggested to B and Me that we get fast food for lunch. I obliged and we got that good Culvers.
We sit down and i realize C has her lil bag of celery and u can tell she felt left out.
Anyway..
FF last friday I didn't even ask for anything walk into the lunch spot and A n B got ya boy the same meal as the previous friday...once again C didn't get anything and she did a poor job of hiding her disdain. B sees this and says after her meal "Ooh that hit the spot!" to antagonize her
I'm like damn..
Today, I tell A and B that we are gonna include C on lunch if we doing it and i'll buy her lunch. They're like cool and think i'm soft for doing so(they don't like this girl) and so I go to C's cubicle and ask her if she wanted anything.
THIS BITCH snaps on me.

At work, I prefer to hang with dudes. No stress, can talk how I please, don't have to worry about doing something wrong, or getting on anyone's nerves, or anybody's feelings getting hurt because I went to lunch with Mike instead of Derrick, or having James mad at me because I was talking to Frank and James doesn't get along with Frank.
Not having my money messed-up because of someone's feelings. I got a kid to raise.

...who she doesn't like and who hates on her. Talking about she doesn't get along with "a whole floor." Then I saw the lunchtime cliques rolling out together. Started noticing who didn't get along with who. I gotta keep away from that. I'm just not built for social politics... it takes too much energy for me. I'm more of a lone wolf type.
There ARE some really cool ladies here, but they are kinda lone wolves themselves.

this has been my personal experience. i'm wondering if dudes who don't like each other just don't hang around each other so it never even comes up. whereas women...

If men got a problem they'll either hash it out or ignore each other.
If women have a problem they gon be talkin bout each other, checking to see what they doing, not doing, who they talkin to, what they wearing etc....
Obviously not all women, just the ones with vaginas.

geah did the right thing. she did not receive it graciously.
the fact that she snapped on him while admitting that the mean girls is her actual target is so telling. all he can do is never add to the pile on and stay neutral. but his job of actively reaching out is done.
