but she expects me to be home all the time and to talk and share my feelings I tried to tell her I have none... that went over like a fart in church...
biggest thing is really having to think of new things to talk about and balancing kid/family/wife/alone time... that's huge for me bc I was single and spending days w/o even talking to anyone let alone having meaningful conversation.

our Saturdays usually start early in the morning for either a hockey game or baseball game. Depending on the season. Home by lunch time. Chill for a minute. Do a bit of cleaning. maybe some drive way hockey or a walk to the park. Have dinner and watch a movie on the couch. Wife and kid are usually out by 9. I might chill until 11 because I gotta cook Sunday breakfast and do it all over again. Shit is amazing.

a few changes come with getting married... the only one that took me by surprise was her insistence on cutting down on my sports activities... I had already gone from 5x/wk to 2x/wk and shhe continued to feel that was outrageous. She's changed her tune and the past few years has herself been getting out to play 2x a lot of weeks and I think realizes she is happier when she does so.
But yeah, there'll be some changes with the marriage, then more with the baby, then more with the house, then more with the second baby. If you can both deal with the changes and the associated stresses, you'll be fine.
The war was on after we got married. As the late great Patrice said it's like fighting terrorism. No days off. When you relax...car bomb. Always gotta be on point.
