He's too much "Us Vs. Them" oriented.
There has never been a successful global movement built on the Us. vs. Them philosophy, only bloodshed, war, and violence.
There are good people in government. Lumping everyone into the "corrupt pigs" category and rallying against them is not going to accomplish anything, and in fact, it will paint all activists with the same extremist broad strokes that noone takes seriously anymore.
The fact that Russel Brand is even creating content pertaining to Kanye and Kim Kardashian is a farce (even in his title). If you don't like it, leave it alone. Focus on real issues, do not bring attention to media trash. He is just as much a media whore as they are, except, that he likes to point his finger and make all encompassing generalizations in an attempt to feign social responsibility.
If he was sincere about creating change, he would organize/rally with good people in government, good people in business, and collaborate on strong financial, political, and philosophical solutions to the issues which continue to plague society, but, alas, it is easier to turn on a camera and lampoon about the hypocrisy of the media and point your finger at the big bad government, oh gosh, what a revolutionary, because, that hasn't already been done a million times already.
