Eddie Murphy Is Now Part Of The Richard Pryor Biopic Cast

The cast of the highly anticipated Richard Pryor biopic is rounding out a bit more. In addition to the previously announced stars Mike Epps, Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson (who will be playing Pryor’s wife), reports confirm that Eddie Murphy is hopping onto Lee Daniels’ big project (you know, aside from his wildly successful FOX hitEmpire).
According to Entertainment Tonight, Murphy will star in the currently untitled flick as Pryor’s father, LeRoy “Buck Carter” Pryor.
Yesterday (Mar. 12), Daniels posted a celebratory flick of him and Murphy on the ‘gram with the caption, “Strap in and brace yourself. They done let me and him out of our cages! #idonteventhinkimreadyforthisone! #excited #proud #OMG.”
Claps all around for Murphy, and we’re more than looking forward to the end result.

2. "Funny he ends up playing Richard's pops...." In response to Reply # 0
....when he can do such an ill impersonation of Richard. I'm not saying he should play Richard since an actor younger than Eddie would be needed. Just thought it was lightheartedly interesting.
