tgimff my littles are one month today! i'm writing this from my phone with a baby on my breast how's that for multitasking???
it has been a great month the mister has been off, my dad has been taking care of the house and the dog, and we have just been parenting our asses off i realize that i am speaking from a place of privelege when i say that all the difficulty people warned us about was grossly overstated if your partner can be present and you have some help, it's pretty simple I hate that most men don't get close to a month off we have been so lucky in that regard of course all this will change next week when daddy goes back to work and im solo!!!
the babies themselves - they're fckng adorable and great sleepers and they smell all good and are just the best
this wkend! auntie zazzles is coming! brunch, a baby wearing meetup (so crunchy), and 60 something degrees in the chi! have a great two days everyone!!!

i was able to buy wildchild the following: -3 pair of shorts -3 pair of spring pants -romper -3 shirts -1 sweatshirt - pink sunglasses (she just HAD to have them LOL) - 1 swimsuit
i got myself -2 cardigans -1 pair of shoes -1 leather belt
all for $170
im so freaking happy!
this girl is 4 years old wearing a 6 in girls so no more toddler prices if you are a parent of a kid im sure you know how much of a score this was

i'm having a great week. amazing meeting on monday. great to have some institutional support for our project/org. it's starting to feel real.
feeling ok about all the coursework i have to do. i'm not gonna work myself to death over it. i'll do as much as i can, and focus my main energy on my dissertation.
got a interview on monday for an internal position at my job. i like the company, the people, and the location is perfect, so i'd rather stay than go elsewhere. hope it works out.

i'm happy that my awful week is almost over. i've not had this much bad luck in pre-production in a LONG fucking time. my shoot yesterday went really really well but my shoot in LA next week has gone to hell. i don't buy that Friday the 13th crap. everything is fixable or at least salvageable.
anyhow- last night was the first time i got sleep all week. i need a little more. i'm happy my seedlings are coming along and spring is nearly here. i'm happiest in my garden with my girls. it's warmer than usual. i feel like i might be getting back into running soon. i'm happy b/c there is so much love in my life and i have the best network of friends!
