Since I moved to the DMV last June it's taken me a while to find not only a decent barber but a decent price for one as well. Can't lie, I miss my barbershop in Alabama. For some reason it's like the barbers up here can't cut low & dark & it took a minute to find one. Only problem is, dude is heavy handed as fuck & I leave his chair looking like my face was traced with a red crayon. I feel saying "Aye mayne, yeen cutting through leather!" I heal pretty fast but I shouldn't have to after a cut. How y'all deal with that? Definitely don't want to ease up while in the chair & I'm not about to grunt through it. I hate being passive to those who don't deserve it. He say he learned how to cut in prison so that's prolly why he extra with it

it's wild, too, because there have been times where I'll give like a 5 minute breakdown BEFORE getting in the chair and dude still do what the fuck he wanna do. Like you said, you can feel when they buzz into that danger zone. Lining look correct as shit on Saturday...Monday morning you got that peach fuzz coming in. Like, damn...I paid 20 bones for this TWO days ago. Cats wanna hit you with the super, exacto knife, laser edge up that they seen in a rap video. Naw, man...just keep it funky with my God-given joint and I'll be straigt and it will look better for longer. Crazy.

At first it you t take me about 40 to 50 mins to get it right, but with repetition, I was able to get it down to about 25 mins. And I would only go back to the barber if I was feeling lazy or I was in a real rush.

I get a shave and a trim. I don't know what the real rates are, but I think it's less than that. Plenty of chairs and stable clientele. Older shop, so less rambling and more cutting. I appreciate that. A bonus is the liquor store down the street sells for cheap.

she's got a good touch. its delicate and precise. not that there aren't dudes with the same touch. i had a great barber back in Philly who was soft with his hands. he was good. --------------------------------------- it's true what they say...people are strange, when you're strangers.
i also find male barbers try to give me what they think looks good on me as opposed to wtf I asked for! No nigga I don't want a w cut on my neck. Either fade/taper that shit out. And no, don't box that shit either. and no i don't need a shape up in on the front. just hit my sides and back of neck!

Dutchess was doing a tat for a female barber who's tryna open her own shop & Guh asked if I would go to a female barber. I told her that when I was in Korea, all I had was female barbers, so yeah. I think you just put me on a mission mayne! LOL!
