couple years ago i got a hole in one of my molars. didn't realize until i chewed some gum.

i remember chewing gum and realizing that if i chewed it on a specific tooth, i'd hear a pop sound.

Being forced to hear someone else chew food of any kind publically is very very grating. Male or female, gum popping and a huge annoyance to me. Having beef with chewing is going too far, but popping is a bit much IMO.

The one guy just stopped cold turkey between eighth grade and high school. The other dude didn't so much suck his thumb as sort of bite it when he was too amped up. He went through two different rounds of putting some sort of disgusting chemical on his thumb/hand before he finally quit.
