"OKP: You make the call...coworker shit"

Okay got a coworker that has a 14 year old daughter.

8th grade

They Caflick and the girl took entrance exams to 3 different Caflick high schools round here.
A, B, and C

Ironically those were her choices to go to in that order.

Well she got a boyfriend

Who has B as his choice only.

She got in all 3
He got in B

They took the entrance exams in November.

Boyfriend and Lil Girl done got closer

Now she holla'n that I wanna go to B shit

Momma know she don't really wanna go to B
Daddy don't care

Lil girl Chose B based on the boy telling her "I know u wanna go to A and i'll be hurt if u go, but we can work through it"

That was the beginning of her school choice

Momma wants to veto her choice

Daddy don't care

Momma axed me what would I do

She don't wanna know my answer..

All three schools are good schools(They are) and he's paying tuition anyway so might as well be at the school she's happy with. The boyfriend angle he's saying he'd rather have her go to the school with him than them sneak around.

and if they force her to go to a different school, she'll spend more time scheming on how to see her boyfriend rather than her school work. The hard task is to get her to go to the school that's the best for her overall, not what's best for her current relationship. I don't envy the parents' situation here.

not only is he letting his daughter be happy and make her own choice, but * IF * the boyfriend hurts her (and I'm not hoping he does) then she will learn a valuable lesson about living your life for other people while subjugating your true desire.

They're not going to be together long. She needs to learn to keep her eyes on the REAL prize and stay focused. Doesn't mean they have to breakup but she doesn't need to make a compromise at 14yrs old to learn a lesson the hard way.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

He really doesn't want her to come to School B... he's just trying to keep her on the hook if she sticks with A so he can keep her and have fun at the new school.

What were her reasons originally for having A first? tuition considerations? Academic rigor?

It kind of depends on what the girl is "giving up". Like if she wanted to go to A cuz they got the best field hockey team but B's team is pretty good to then its whatever. I NEED MORE INFORMATION BEFORE I DECIDE THIS CHILD'S FATE!!!

she wanted something new and they have a decent volleyball team which she likes.

All 3 schools are good academic schools. Like 99 percent graduation rate and like 90 percent college acceptance rate.. it all boils down to the boy.

And there's no difference as to where she goes, I'd choose A or C

She goes to school B with dude, her grades might suffer because of that, or she might get heartbroken if lil' dude gets open off new high school girls.

Either way, choosing a high school should not be done because of 8th grade love
