"Any Clash of Clans or Boom Beach players here?"

These games are addictive as fugg, and all you need is your phone which is great.

Clash of Clans:
http://supercell.com/en/games/clashofclans/

Boom Beach:
http://www.playboombeach.com/

In my opinion, Boom Beach is a lot better. Clash of Clans upgrade costs are outrageous. The game is generally geared to get you to buy gems. I heard this game is making 2 million dollars per day.

Boom Beach is not dependent on Gems and you can get far using your brains. It's all about strategy and using the right troops for the job. I have consistently taken stronger bases using good strategy and planning. It's really fun.

I've got both heroes, both X-Bows, and slowly upgrading my items, but honestly, the cost of wall upgrades is just getting retarded. I'm at 500k to upgrade a single wall. This will take a lifetime yo, lol.

Try Boom Beach, there is a lot more to do and you don't lose your troops after a campaign, you can reuse them at full health. It's a lot better.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

tournaments and shit is on some micro endorphin shit. got mfers tappin the phones like crack monkeys.

imagine if this time + energy could be harnessed for good? have a million muhfuckas text messaging ET instead, on some SETI@phone shit.

anything but this.

also, i am minimally social on here.

i say hi and bye and join in on team tournaments for kills and might builds just enough to be a net positive in one of the best alliances. and therefore reap the benefits of same.

it's very machiavellian.

my kids got me playing over a yr ago. and i first joined and was gonna build my kingdom all peaceful like.

and muhfuckas were straight raiding me for resources. and then you hit back and they whole clan / alli smack you up. fuck + that.

so i clique up and we turn around and do what? fuck w/ the peasants.

this is so darwinian. its basically a social science experiment showing why gang life is a popular survival mechanism. or why ppl in failed states join militias or terrorist groups, or other cliques.

i usedta care about ppl feelings.

actually, now that i'm big, i don't mess w/ independent villages that much. only if there's a training comp and i need rss bad. i'll generally just attack cities that are red flagged (hostile w/ our alliance).

but my views certainly changed after playing.

who the fuck knows what this is doing to society.

ppl be on there catching real life feelings over a game.

I experienced some of this last night. I had the option to raid a weaker village and though to myself, "Is this the type of ruler I would be, ruthlessly destroying weaker villages which don't stand a chance for a bit of loot?" and I actually decided against it and went after someone stronger, which felt gratifying, but alas, when push comes to shove and you need gold, someone is going to suffer.

lol I see people on public transport all the time doing this.

Hey there, that is an idea worth exploring. I read recently that 4chan users helped decode a genome, or was it solving a mathematical problem, I don't remember exactly. Imagine there was an app where the world's biggest challenges/problems were available for everyone to fiddle with. Millions of minds working on the same problem, offering different ways to interpret and look at them. I would call it HiveMind.

Hmm, another interesting idea. A lot of this could make for some really interesting analysis.
